Viewing Your Earnings & Payout Records

When your work sells through a gallery using Crafted Call, the Earnings page in your artist account shows what you have earned, what is still owed to you, and what has already been paid. This is the page to open when you want to know whether a sale has been paid out, and it is the record to keep for your own bookkeeping.

Opening your earnings

Sign in and go to Earnings in your artist account. The page covers artwork sales through galleries. Entry fees you have paid to enter calls are not earnings and appear with your submissions instead.

At the top, four figures summarise everything:

• Total Earned is your share of every recorded sale.
• Pending is money owed to you but not yet paid, including a payout that is on its way.
• Paid Out is what the gallery has sent or recorded as sent.
• Total Sales counts the pieces sold.

If you sell through galleries in more than one country, you get one set of these figures per currency. Crafted Call never adds Australian dollars to United States dollars to make a single number, because that number would not mean anything.

Getting paid

A banner at the top tells you where you stand with payouts:

• Connect Stripe to receive payouts means you have not set up direct payment yet. Use Complete Stripe Setup to connect your account.
• Stripe Connected means galleries can send your share straight to your bank.

Connecting Stripe is optional. Galleries can also pay you by check, cash or transfer and record the payment in Crafted Call afterwards, which is why some payouts show a method other than Stripe. Never send bank or account details through messages or comments; connecting your own Stripe account is how you give payment details safely.

Reading your payout history

Payout History lists every payout galleries have made to you for artwork sales, with Date, Gallery, Sales, Gross Amount, Net Payout, Method and Status.

Gross amount is what the buyer paid. Net payout is your share after the gallery's commission and, for card sales, processing fees. The gap between the two is the commission you agreed with the gallery, so if the split looks wrong, that is the conversation to have with them rather than with support.

Status means:
