A brand theme is the wrapper around every campaign you send: the header, the footer, the colors, the typography and the button style. Themes live at Admin → Marketing → Brand Themes. Pick one theme that looks like your gallery, set it as the default, and every new campaign starts inside it. This guide covers choosing a theme, editing one, linking it to your organization's branding, and reusing content across campaigns.
Choose a theme
The Brand themes page shows every theme available to you as a card with a live preview of a sample campaign. Each card is badged so you can tell them apart:
Starter is one of the designer themes that ship with Crafted Call: Editorial Serif, Gallery Hero, Exhibition Banner, Soft Studio, Atelier Frame, Dotted Journal, Noir Frame and Terracotta Gallery.
Custom is a theme your organization made.
Default marks the theme new campaigns start in.
Brand & Identity marks a theme that takes its colors, fonts and logo from your organization's branding rather than storing its own.
Select any card to open the preview. Inside it you can switch between Desktop and Mobile, and between Light and Dark to see how mail apps that honor dark mode will render it.
From the preview you can:
Send me a test to put the sample campaign in your own inbox.
Use for new campaigns to make it the default.
Edit design to open a custom theme in the theme editor.
Customize a copy to duplicate a starter into an editable custom theme and open it.
The card menu carries the same actions in short form: Edit Design, Rename, Duplicate, Set as Default and, for custom themes, Delete. Deleting warns you how many draft campaigns still use the theme. There is no archive: keep a theme, or delete it.
Edit a theme
The theme editor groups its controls into collapsible sections:
Brand theme info is the name and description your team sees.
Header holds the Logo, an optional Banner image, and the Header Background.
Colors sets , , , and .

Content Card & Dividers sets the Card Border and the divider style: Classic, Line, Thick, Dotted or None.
Typography sets the Body Font and Heading Font from a list of fonts that render reliably in email.
Button Style sets the Button Background and Button Text.
Footer sets the Footer Background and the footer text and social links.
Keep the palette short. Two or three colors read as deliberate; more reads as noise.
Linking a theme to Brand & Identity
A theme can take its values from your organization's branding instead of storing its own. When it does, individual fields are locked and show a From Brand & Identity badge, and updating your branding updates the theme everywhere it is used. Use Detach to break the link and edit the fields directly, and Reset to Brand & Identity to link it back.
Set your colors, fonts and logo once in Organization Branding, then let your themes follow them.
Reusing content across campaigns
Themes control the wrapper. The content inside it is reused a different way.
Save as campaign template in the design editor keeps a finished campaign's layout for reuse, and New from template on the Email Campaigns page starts a fresh campaign from one.
Sections in the design editor sidebar inserts a prebuilt multi-block section, and holds sections your team has saved.
Saved blocks in the same sidebar holds individual blocks you keep for reuse, such as a standard footer note or a sponsor credit.
Duplicate on a theme card is the fastest way to make a variant without disturbing the original.
Blocks you can put in a campaign
The design editor's Blocks tab offers Text, Image, Button, Divider and Spacer, plus platform cards that pull their own content from your records: Exhibition, Event, Call for Artists, Class/Workshop and Artwork. A platform card carries the record's own image and its alt text, so an artwork card describes the artwork rather than repeating a filename.
Font family and font size are block settings and apply to the whole block. Bold, italic, headings, color, lists, links and alignment sit in the toolbar above the block and apply to the text you selected.
Controlled rollout: advanced blocks and conditional block visibility. Social icons, linked video and custom HTML are enabled for some organizations at a time, and custom HTML is limited to owners and admins even where it is on. Conditional visibility, which shows or hides a block depending on the recipient, is on the same footing. Access varies by organization.
What changed, and what a theme does not do
A few things behave differently from older guidance:
Version history belongs to campaigns, not themes. Editing a theme changes it for future campaigns immediately. If you want a second look, duplicate the theme instead. Campaign drafts do keep a version history, described in Email Campaign Basics.
Previews are desktop and mobile. There is no tablet size, and no per-client rendering simulation. To see the email in a real mail app, use Send me a test.
There is no theme search or usage count. The gallery shows a summary strip and the cards themselves.
