Custom Domains
A custom domain puts your public pages on your own address instead of a Crafted Call one. There are two separate kinds, and they are set up in different places on different plans:
- An organization domain for your gallery's public pages, connected from your organization settings. This needs the Premier plan.
- An Artist Site domain for an individual artist's site, connected from that site's settings. This needs the Core plan or above; Pay as you go cannot connect one, Core allows one domain, and higher plans allow more.
Crafted Call handles the certificate and the content delivery network for both. Your only job is three DNS records.
Connecting an organization domain
Go to Admin → Settings → Organization and open the Domains section.
Under Connect a custom domain, enter the domain you want to use, such as examplegallery.com, and choose Add domain. Use a subdomain like gallery.example.org if your main website already lives on the root domain.
The domain appears in the Domains table with its Status, its Verification record, and when it was last updated. It stays pending until DNS verification succeeds. Once it validates, Crafted Call issues the certificate and marks the domain ready. Use Check status to re-check after you add each record.
Listing and removing domains is never blocked, so an organization that changes plan can still see and disconnect what it already connected.
Connecting an Artist Site domain
From the site's settings, open Custom Domain and add the domain there. The steps and the records are the same as below.
The three DNS records
Crafted Call shows the exact values, and each one is copyable. Add them at your registrar in this order, because each step only appears once the previous one has succeeded.
1. Prove you own the domain. Add the TXT record shown under Add this TXT record:

2. Let Crafted Call issue the certificate. Once verification succeeds, a second panel appears, , with a Type of CNAME plus a Name and a Value. This is what proves ownership to the certificate authority. If the panel says the certificate is still being requested, wait a few minutes and check again.
