I work at a bookstore and periodically large publishers will send an envelope full of dust jackets for upcoming young adult and middle grade novels as well as unbound advanced reader copies of picture books. While they were previously recycled after viewing, they are now given a second-life through my collages. The piece takes inspiration from the vast array of worlds hinted at through the covers’ illustrations, seeking to blend them together into a chimeric wonderland.
