Daniela Wenzel
Color is the spice in the artist's life. I started experimenting with paint color swatches from the hardware store in order to broaden my color horizon and to avoid overusing the same hues and to design underpaintings for future works. My love of collections and quilting background brought about the idea to create these colorful collages full of joy and visual interest.
Daniela Wenzel is a multidisciplinary artist based in New Hampshire whose colorful work spans narrative and abstract oil paintings, quilting, fiber art, and driftwood pyrography. Deeply committed to fierce experimentation with pattern and color, she moves seasonally between mediums. Her pieces have been featured in multiple exhibitions at See Saw Art and Mosaic Art Collective.
