Marcia Wood Mertinooke
A tool of the caretaker, passed from one generation to the next. More than a simple object, it represents the keeping of home and family through the passage of time.
Marcia Wood-Mertinooke is an artist living and working in Bedford, New Hampshire, holding a BA in Studio Art from UNH. Her work explores questions of existence and free will, using figures and graphic, symbolic backgrounds to blend realism with emotional expressionism. She is a member of the New Hampshire Women's Caucus for Art and a board member of Mosaic Art Collective.
