I discovered this little serene backwater to my city's water supply less than 2 miles from my house! Was enchanted by the play of light & shadows and the reflections of sky, clouds and trees on the still waters. Was inspired by reading about Monet and how he cultivated his ponds at Giverny with water lilies just for the joy of it. Only later did it occur to him to paint them... which begs: What are you doing just for enjoyment & beauty today?! Mounted with offset matting in a vintage gilded frame.
