Gingerbread is rendered in Soft Pastels on UArt320 Sanded Panel. The reference photo of these Gingerbread houses at dawn was taken at sunrise in Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard in August 0f 2019. I recall that this particular morning had more fog than clouds. As the sun broke over the horizon, both the billows of fog and the painted ladies that line Ocean Park were bathed in warm refracted light.
