Artist Statement
I am an artisan woodworker and clay artist based in Manchester, NH. I am a juried member of the New Hampshire Art Association and the New Hampshire League of Craftsmen. My original works have ranged in size from 12” high to over five feet tall, featuring reclaimed and hand carved wood, inlaid with individually hand crafted clay tiles. The clay tile inlays reflect a variety of finishes and themes, including embossed faux metallic veneers and metal leaf, African mud cloth patterns, retro and mid-century modern motifs, and colorful ombre mosaics. My work is constantly evolving as I discovers new woodworking techniques and experiments with different styles of clay inlays.
