A minimal cubist composition defined by white space and fading structure. The forms faintly suggest a relationship between two figures walking hand in hand. But this instance the visual represents a fading memory of an aging mind trying to recall, a remnant.
I’ve spent years designing for others—brands, murals, spaces—building work meant to connect quickly and clearly. Painting has always been something else entirely. Slower. Quieter. A space I’ve been drawn to, but took time to fully step into. My work sits between the familiar and the abstract. Forms shift, perspectives bend, and recognizable moments start to loosen. I’m interested in that edge—where something is almost understood, but not completely. Where there’s just enough tension to make you look twice. This series, painted in oil, reflects a more deliberate pace. It’s about distilling what I’ve learned from design and large-scale work into something more restrained. Less direct. More felt than explained.
